Arkadium Spider Solitaire is one of the most played games in the card games section. It’s a fantastic form of puzzle which can take up a considerable of your time.
The game revolves around rules which, while simple, must be adhered to in a flexible manner in order to accomplish the main objective of the game. Cards set out on the table, as in any game, can be stacked in any form, so being strategic is very important. The game starts with cards being stacked into ten columns. Out of which, the last card is open and available for play. This last card can be played and moved onto any card which is ranked one higher than the card itself. There is a small trick here which is rather important and must be used with care. Cards can be removed from the game irrespective of the suit to which they belong, and it is only the suit which determines whether a player can take a sequence of cards from the pile. This is especially important when there are two suits in play, or any of the more challenging configurations like four suits, which are more suited for advanced players.
The rules regarding Spider Solitaire by Arkadium are like most solitaire games, which makes them simple. You have to clear the entire field by organizing the cards in descending order. A King is at the bottom, which is then followed by a Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and Ace. After completing a combination, the column is transferred to the bottom section, and this provides more space. This means you have to clear the entire deck and stack it onto the bottom, and you have to do all of this within a limited amount of time.
Like most solitaire games, this one is also controlled using the mouse. From the main menu, you can select one out of the three difficulty modes. The simplest mode is designed for absolute beginners and consists of one single suit. The second mode has two suits and increases the difficulty. The final mode has all four suits and is the most difficult level that is reserved for pro players only.
