Rules

Easy Spider Solitaire (one-suit) is an online, free game where players collect several decks of cards in the same suit in sequential order. Here the player starts with ten stacks of cards. Each stack is comprised of a different number of cards, yet only the bottom card is face down. The task is to complete the solitaire game, which is only done if all cards are revealed.

Players can move cards between different stacks in order to achieve this. Note that only a card, one rank lower can be added to the stack. For instance, to a stack that ends with a ten, only a nine card, or a stack that starts with a nine can be added. The moment a player completes a set of 13 cards in order of descending sequence, the player moves that stack to the bottom to free up space. The game is complete or won, the moment all stacks are moved to the bottom.

Alongside the primary stacks, located at the base, there's an additional ‘deck’. This ‘deck’ can be clicked on to distribute one card to every stack, which can be useful in certain poor situations and can, for instance, be the card needed to complete a certain stack. The trick is to remove the stacks that are almost complete and complete them, as the fewer cards one has on the table, the better their chances to succeed. Players are provided hints that illuminate possible plays at the current moment and help steer them towards the correct move that culminates in victory.

How to play Easy Spider Solitaire

In this instance, you will only be dealing with one suit, thus making the movements and collection of the decks easier than all the other variations. The cards can be moved and stacks rearranged with the computer mouse. The ‘extra deck’ can also be utilized. This is done by left clicking the card back illustrated on the bottom of the screen. Space can also be utilized to receive hints that suggest the moves to be played at the moment.
